The Company

Herk Consulting was set up in 2023 to develop leaders and build kinder workplace cultures. We focus on growing our clients through transformational learning and sustainable change.

We know from experience that companies and organisations can achieve their maximum potential by nurturing a positive working environment, where people can learn, innovate and contribute meaningfully with a sense of purpose, and where they can grow as individuals and together as a team.

We help our clients move towards this positive change through training, coaching, and facilitation and consultancy services.

Meet The Team

Herk Ng

Herk Ng
Founder and Principal Consultant

Recently named as a “LinkedIn Top Voice in Social Impact”, Herk is a consultant, coach, and ACLP-certified adult educator. Inspired by his mentors, he set up Herk Consulting to help corporate and individual clients build kinder workplace cultures through transformational learning and sustainable growth. Herk focuses on workplace culture, leadership and management development, and environmental and social sustainability, and his previous projects and clients include Star Media (Malaysia), Ministry of Education, Maybank, UOB, Danone, KPMG, and Ambulance Wish Singapore.  He is also an associate trainer with Korn Ferry, Social Service Institute (a division of NCSS), SG Enable, Workplace Asia, Exquisite Perspective, and SIM Global Education. 

Prior to starting his company, Herk spent more than 10 years across different senior leadership roles in the social and sustainability sectors. As Assistant Chief Executive of SG Enable, the focal agency for disability in Singapore, he spearheaded Singapore’s disability-inclusive employment efforts, and led the development of the Enabling Village – an inclusive community space which has won many awards for its social impact. As Director of Strategic Planning Office in the National Council of Social Service (NCSS), he led the development of the 4ST – a 5-year strategy roadmap for Singapore’s social service sector. And as Division Director of Strategic Management in the Singapore International Foundation, he established multiple collaborations with different NGOs across ASEAN, China, and India. 

Herk received the Public Service Commission Overseas Merit Scholarship in 1997, and graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, and a Master of Engineering in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering. He is a Certified Serving Leader Trainer, a GRI Certified Sustainability Professional, and a Certified WorkPlace Big Five Practitioner. He is also a member of the Adult Education Network of Singapore.
